Connexus shares with Paulo Freire the reliance on popular education as a crucial step to acknowledge potentials and fostering leadership. We are enthusiastic about cooperative learning projects as a tool to achieve individual and collective human liberation. From agroecology tools from capacity-building to critical thinking – our approach relies on experience, interaction and participation as pillars to sustain our partners. That is the foundation of our grant-making processes, ground for sponsorship and partnership criteria, and ultimate goal of our daily work.

From Johannesburg to Buenos Aires, from Tunis to Katmandu, we believe in the power of transcultural communication. Leaderships, representatives from grassroots organisations and communities, organise around a week-intensive curriculum to share practices, discuss strategies and exchange traditions.
People’s summits and conferences: from the people to the people, aligning dreams and actions
Based on our growing collaborative network of informal organisations and collectives, who share with us a people-centered approach, we began to dedicate part of our financial support to enforce existing and emerging forums where movements take the lead in gathering, discussing and aligning their goals and next steps.
